What started out as being a simple hobby suddenly changed when we won the silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits competition in 2011.
We decided to produce more high-quality artisanally made spirits always with lemons as an important ingredient!
The lemons we use are some of the best lemons in the world: Limone di Siracusa IGP. These quality lemons are even protected by the EU.
The lemons are handpicked with great care on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Only the best lemons are used for our drinks. Before being transported to the factory the lemons are thoroughly washed.
The lemons arrive in the factory on Mondays where they get another refreshing bath before being hand-peeled. The lemons must be peeled as thinly as possible as we only want to use the yellow part of the skin. What remains is transported to a juicing company to ensure nothing is wasted.
The thinly-sliced lemon peels are used for our high-quality products such as: Fiorito Limoncello, Fiorito Lemon Infused Rum, Li Limoncellow, Li Mandarinello and Li Elderflower.
